Technical writing expert Rebecca Schwartz has worked as an editor, writer, and writing teacher. In this course, Rebecca will teach you the skills you need to be successful as you write technical documentation for distinct audiences.

You’ll learn the purposes and qualities of good technical writing and then the key elements of technical documentation. You’ll see how to follow a six-step process for technical writing and how to write clear instructions. You’ll learn important technical terms and how to use them in your writing as well as some best practices for adding visuals to your technical materials.

Along the way, Rebecca will show you lots of examples, both good and bad, and give you many tips and tricks she uses in her professional life.
